GINGER CHUTNEY INGREDIENTS Ginger 1/2 kgs Jaggery 1/2kgs Tamrind 1/2kgs Red chillies 1/4 kgs Oil 1/4kgs Garlic 2pods Mustard seeds 1tsp Urad dal 1tsp Curry leaves 10-15 Salt to taste METHOD 1. Wash ginger,remove skin and chop into small pieces.Shallow fry in enough oil. 2.Fry red chillie.Add little hot water to tamrind and extract thick pulp. 3.Grind red chillies to a fine powder and add tamrind pulp and ginger pieces.Grind to fine paste 4.Add jaggery and salt and grind further. 5.Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds and urad dal and fry till they crackle add curry leaves and crushed garlic ,fry ...
