MURUKKU

INGREDIENTS


Besan                            2 cups
Rice Flour                     1 cup
Red Chilli Powder         2 tsp
Ajwain                            1tsp
Sesame seeds                  2 tsp
Ghee                               2 tbsp
Salt  to taste
Oil for deep frying

METHOD

1. Mix besan and rice flour in a bowl.Add salt ,red chilli powder,ajwain and sesamme seeds and mix well.
2. Heat ghee in a pan and add to the flour.Mix well. Add water gradually and mix to make a dough.
3.Heat oil in a pan for deep frying .
4.Put the dough in sev presser and make murukku in hot oil .
5 Fry till they turn light brown or till the oil ceases bubbling.
6.Drain and cool and then store in air tight container.
