MURUKKU

INGREDIENTS Besan                            2 cups Rice Flour                     1 cup Red Chilli Powder         2 tsp Ajwain                            1tsp Sesame seeds                  2 tsp Ghee                               2 tbsp Salt  to taste Oil for deep frying METHOD 1. Mix besan and rice flour in a bowl.Add salt ,red chilli powder,ajwain and sesamme seeds and mix well. 2. Heat ghee in a pan and add to the flour.Mix well. Add water gradually and mix to make a dough. 3.Heat oil in a pan for deep frying . 4.Put the dough in sev presser and make murukku in hot oil . 5 Fry till they turn light brown or till the oil ceases bubbling. 6.Drain and cool and then store in air tight container.

Dates cake Ingredients Eggs                    4 Maida                 200gms or 2 cups Sugar                   11/2 cups oil                          1/2  cup Dates puree          1 cup Baking powder      1tsp baking soda            1/2 tsp milk                        1/2 cup vanilla essance        few dgs rops      Method 1. Deseed dates and soak them in hot water for half an hour  and make a paste. 2. Sieve maida with baking powder and baking soda  two to three times. 3.In a mixing bowl break eggs and add sugar and beat well till the sugar dissolves,You can also use powdered sugar. 4. Add oil and beat again.Then add maida, mixing well. 5.Add dates puree,milk and essance and mix well. 6.Grease the baking dish  with  oil  and dust it with little maida. Pour the batter in it .  7.Put some sand in a pressure cooker and heat it for five minutes. Then put the container on the sand . Remove the gasket and close the lid,No need to
