KITCHEN TIPS

1. To remove stains from cooker, boil two cups of water mixed with a tablespoon of citric acid. Scrub well after it cools down.


2. Add a few grains of rice in biscuit container to keep them fresh and crisp.

3. Mint leaves remain fresh for long time if you add a two drops of oil and store in airtight container in the fridge.

4. For softer naans and bhaturas add drinking soda (carbonated water) instead of plain water while kneading the dough.

5. To remove the smell of fish or meat from the oven , add two to three drops of vanilla essence in a cup of water and heat it in the oven.

BEAUTY TIPS
Hair care
1.For split ends add pulp of ripe papaya with a cup of curd and apply to the hair.Shampoo the hair after 30 minutes.
2.Soak 1 tablespoon of urad dal and 1 tables spoon of
 methi seed in a cup of curd overnight.Grind to a paste in the morning and apply on the hair for 1 hour.Wash the hair with mild shampoo.This pack is very nourishing for the hair.

Skin care
1 Add half teaspoon of turmeric in two to three teaspoons of besan and mix with sufficient milk.Apply this paste to the face and neck.Wash after ten minutes for a glowing skin.
2 Mix one tablespoon of curd with a tablespoon of cucumber juice and apply on face for ten minutes.This is good for closing the pores and also lighten the blemishes.
3 Add a teaspoon of honey in some curd and apply on the face.Rub it gently and let it stay for 5to6 minutes.Wash off with cold water and see your skin glow.
