MANGO RASAM


Raw mango           - 1/4th of one whole mango
Turmeric               - pinch
Red chilli powder -  1/4th tsp
Pepper                   - pinch
Zeera powder       - pinch
Corriander leaves few
Salt to taste
For Tempering:
Ghee
Hing
Zeera
Mustard Seeds
Curry leaves

METHOD

  1. Boil the raw mango pieces with corriander leaves until they are mushy.
  2. smash the raw mango in the water completely and add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, pepper, zeera powder and salt to taste.
  3. Bring it to a boil and then lets temper
  4. For tempering heat one small dallop of ghee and add the tempering items mentioned above.
  5. serve this with rice.
